Adam Almeter*¹

Principal Trombone

Adam Almeter joined the Mississippi Symphony in 2015 after graduating from Indiana University, and is currently Principal Trombone. At Indiana, Adam performed with the Philharmonic Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra and Wind Ensemble while studying with Peter Ellefson. Other teachers include Max Bonecutter, former bass trombonist with the Metropolitan Orchestra, and Stephen Fissel. Adam has also freelanced in Chicago, teaching privately at the Midwest Music Academy and Naperville Central High School. He participated as a Partner for the Third Coast Trombone Retreat in Montague, Michigan.
