Transcendent Voices
poignant eloquence + spiritual journey
The intensely moving prelude of Wagner’s Parsifal and ethereal beauty of Crafton Beck’s Passage set the stage for an extraordinary interwoven dialogue between Joel Thompson’s powerful and critically-acclaimed Seven Last Words of the Unarmed and Gabriel Faure’s serene and comforting Requiem. Jackson State University Chorale joins MSO in a program that will touch your soul and transform your spirit.
This performance is being recorded by Mississippi Public Broadcasting for future airing on MPB’s radio network.
