The sonorous and sparkling virtuosity of MSO Principal Clarinetist Jorge Diez holds the spotlight in two definitive works by Debussy and Weber. Plus, Berlioz’s daring blockbuster Symphonie Fantastique engages the senses and enlivens the imagination to deliver a bold genius-stroke of a finish, in a program that will take you places you never knew you wanted to go.

MSO’s Principal Clarinetist Jorge Diez is a native of Colombia. He has performed across three continents and in six countries, and collaborated with notable orchestras under the baton of renowned conductors such as Gustavo Dudamel. With an undergraduate degree from El Sistema de Orquestas, an Artist Diploma from Columbus State University, and a Master of Music from the University of Alabama, Diez is currently pursuing a Doctorate.
