Marcia Cochran has been playing with the MSO for over 20 years and is beginning her second season as 3rd flute/piccolo. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education and Master’s Degree in Flute Performance from the University of Southern Mississippi. She is also serving as Second Flute in the Meridian Symphony Orchestra.
Marcia has taught music from the pre-school level through the college level, including having a private flute studio, throughout the last 35 years. She resides in Pearl with her family and is currently teaching Elementary Music in the Vicksburg Warren School District.
