Patrice Jackson, cello

Patrice Jackson Charismatic guest cellist Patrice Jackson is a winner of the nationally renowned Sphinx Competition and the recipient of the Yale University Aldo Parisot Prize. She received both a Bachelor of Music and Artist Diploma from the Juilliard School, and a Master of Music from the Yale School of Music. The Jackson native has performed with orchestras and ensembles nationwide, plus played behind iconic artists Alicia Keys, Kanye West, J-Cole, and Stevie Wonder. Currently on the faculty of Boston’s Berklee College of Music and its Conservatory, Patrice is also the new artistic director of its Film Scoring Orchestra division, and teaches at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute Young Artist Program.

Terrance Evans, piano

Terrance Evans Guest pianist Terrance Evans has traveled, recorded, and performed with various local and national artists. A native of Jackson, he continues to develop his artistry through instruction, performance, collaboration, and production. Terrance holds a Bachelor of Music degree from Jackson State University and a Master of Music degree from the University of Mississippi, both with emphasis on piano performance.
