MSO returns to the Duling Hall stage with a fresh batch of surprising new musical gems. Pulitzer Prize- and Grammy Award-winner Shaw weaves classical forms and current riffs in Entr’acte for a modern minuet with unexpected turns and surreal appeal. Weston’s jazzy Dig It positively percolates, while Hudson’s Nothing Less brilliantly intermingles trumpet virtuosity in a beautiful and lively mosaic of collaboration. Go genre-morphing with Smith in Brandenburg Interstices and zoom to distant lands with Erberk Eryilmaz’s Thracian Airs of Besime Sultan, in a super fun evening with an earpiece to the future.
