Compelling French-born harp soloist and audience favorite Emmanuel Ceysson returns to center stage with two handpicked French showpieces – Pierné’s dreamy Conzertstück and Saint-Saëns’ flashy Morceau de Concert. A delight at every turn, this concert also stirs visual flights of fancy, from Dukas’ mischievous The Sorcerer’s Apprentice to Ravel’s famous orchestration of Mussorgsky’s Pictures at an Exhibition.

Talent Bio
Emmanuel Ceysson, harp
Internationally acclaimed guest harpist Emmanuel Ceysson is currently with the Los Angeles Philharmonic, after years as Principal Harp with Opéra National de Paris and New York MET Opera Orchestra. Born and raised in France, his advanced music education and international distinctions began at age 16, paving the way for a globe-spinning career as a recitalist in major concert venues, a soloist with leading orchestras, a feature at important music festivals, and a recording artist with broad discography. Emmanuel invests time and energy in masterclasses worldwide and teaches a harp studio at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
