Violist Stephen Redfield returns as the featured artist in Four Seasons Reimagined

Jackson, Mississippi, November 9, 2020—On Saturday, November 14th, 2020 at 7:30pm, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra continues its Selby and Richard McRae Foundation Bravo series with Vivaldi’s expressive Four Seasons Reimagined.

This all-strings classic is reborn through the contemporary genius of Max Richter, lending even more brilliance and delight to this all-time favorite, which features guest violinist Stephen Redfield. In a bit of serendipity, Redfield played “The Four Seasons” in his very first appearance with MSO in 2004! The program also includes Vivaldi’s delightful “Sinfonia for Strings”. Redfield says, “It’s so refreshing. It makes me chuckle at times. Other times, it makes my eyes go wide with wonder — it’s just beautiful!”

Tickets ($20) are available in advance only and must be purchased online at Limited seating is socially distanced at Thalia Mara Hall, with mask and temperature check required for entry.
