Leopard teaches piano and harpsichord at Jackson State University and performs in Jackson\, MS. Her specialty in early music performance as a continuo player and harpsichordist has been admired in many concerts with various groups and orchestras throughout the South and Northwest. DESCRIPTION:Copland’s much loved\, Pulitzer Prize-winning Appalachian Spring\, in its original setting for 13 players\, sets the stage for a concert overflowing with American spirit. At the heart of the program is a trio of songs based on Walker’s poetry and Klein’s music performed by JSU Chorale and soloist. Saint-Georges was a virtuoso violinist and a pioneering composer to which his vibrant L’amant Anonyme Overture attests. Mozart’s Divertimento is a crowning achievement from the master and a Sinfonia Concertante by Johann Sebastian Bach’s youngest son features MSO’s own Alexander Ilchev and Mert Özkan.
