Morris opened the Yale Philharmonia’s season as principal on Mahler’s Third Symphony\, conducted by Peter Oundjian. DESCRIPTION:Copland’s much loved\, Pulitzer Prize-winning Appalachian Spring\, in its original setting for 13 players\, sets the stage for a concert overflowing with American spirit. At the heart of the program is a trio of songs based on Walker’s poetry and Klein’s music performed by JSU Chorale and soloist. He has written a dozen musical theatre shows with productions scheduled nationwide\, scored three PBS documentaries\, and recorded and released numerous solo piano albums.
