At more than 300 years young, Johann Pachelbel’s world-famous Canon in D Major still rings true as a masterpiece of peaceful joy and beauty. Join us for this and other beloved classics, including Samuel Barber’s hauntingly inspirational Adagio for Strings, Tommaso Albinoni’s beautifully levetational Adagio in g minor, Tchaikovsky’ Andante Cantabile from String Quartet No.1, Bela Bartok’s gorgeously brilliant Rumanian Folk Dances and many more. (*Tickets available Mar 27).
