2021 Public Health Related Concert Update

>> Upcoming 76th Season Alterations

Dear Friends,

Through our continued commitment to the health and safety of our community, the Mississippi Symphony Orchestra is altering upcoming portions of its 76th season, in compliance with the city of Jackson’s Mayoral Executive Order related to COVID-19 concerns.  January concerts have been postponed until March yielding the following schedule at Thalia Mara Hall:

♦  Bravo III concert:
      MENDELSSOHN & BEETHOVEN — Aural Scenes. Bold Artistry. String Orchestra.
      Saturday, March 6, 2021
(paid subscribers for our Bravo series may reserve seats between Feb 1 & Mar 4)

♦  Pops II concert:
      MUSIC OF RICHTER & FFRENCH — Emerging classics in piano & strings.
      Saturday, MARCH 13, 2021
• (paid subscribers for our Pops series may reserve seats between Jan 25 & Mar 11)

♦  Chamber II concert:
      MOZART BY CANDLELIGHT — Soul warming, all-Mozart evening.
      Saturday, March 27, 2021
(paid subscribers for our Chamber series may reserve seats between Feb 1 & Mar 25)

Single tickets for all 3 concerts will be available to the public February 12th – $20 each!

MSO offices are officially closed and staff are working remotely or in shifts. We encourage communication via email, as phone coverage is limited. Visit our website for individual staff email addresses.
